Floral Card - Hugs

Hello Everyone,

Today I am here with a card where I have tried a new technique, the Spotlight Technique.
This is a technique where only part of the image on the card is in a spotlight. And this is my take on it.

This is a card of size 6.25 * 5 inches. I tried to make a floral arrangement at two corners of the card. Now I stamped these images in black ink, by masking the images where needed. I die cut the card front at the center. Following the Spotlight Technique I decided to colour the images which are in the die cut rectangular portion. Added some shadows to the flower images and then I added glossy accents at the center of the flowers to add some dimension. I have die cut the sentiment in golden colour. Since I did not have a golden colour cardstock, I adhered some washi tape on a cardstock piece and die cut the sentiment. Then I adhered the center portion of the card with a foam and rest of it with white glue, to the card base, Finished the card with sequins and added glitter to the images with a clear glitter pen.

Hope you like the card. Supplies used are listed at the end.

Sparkle! Its your Day

Hello Crafty Folks,

Today I am here with a shaker card. This is a birthday card I made for my friend. For long I wanted to make a shaker card and I am happy to have made one!

This is a A2 size card. I stamped the images and sentiment,  and embossed them on a watercolour paper. Then I coloured these images, did some coloured ink stamping with some of the images in the Stampset. Then I die cut an oval at the center. I also die cut a foam of the size of the front panel of the card to create a shaker card. I adhered the acetate sheet cut in the size of the shaker window and inserted mixed sequins in the window. Finished the card by adhering it to the card base.
Hope you like it. Supplies are listed at the end.

Celebrating You

Hello Everyone,

Today's card is a try at a new technique. This one is for a crafty friend's birthday. Crafty friends are the best as they would not just look at the end result but also appreciate the efforts you put in to create something. Hope my friend likes my attempt at trying something different. So here is my attempt at a no line colouring card.

This is a A2 size card. However the front panel is  little smaller in size. I cut it such that there is some white space visible at the borders. I stamped the images in a very light shade of distress ink Then I coloured the images with Zig Markers. I further masked these coloured images with post it notes and coloured the background with distress ink and splattered some water on the background. I also splattered some black colour with a paint brush to add interest to the background. Then I stamped the sentiment in black ink. I finished the card with adding some golden sequins and adhering the card front to the card base.
Hope you like my attempt at no line colouring. Supplies are listed at the end.

You Are Incredible

Hello Everyone,

Today I am here with a card that I made for my best friend. She has always faced all the challenges, which come her way, very strongly. And I really admire her for this quality. Now that she is going through a tough decision making time, I thought I should cheer her up with a handmade card to tell her that she is Incredible!
Now, about the card. This is an A2 sized card. I adhered a pattern paper to the card base. The front panel has been die cut leaving a little margin on all the edges for the pattern paper to be visible from all the sides. For the front panel, I applied the inks on acetate and smooshed it onto the cardstock. Then I stamped the images and sentiment. Then I die cut the card front. I adhered the die cut piece with a foam tape and rest of the card panel with white glue. I added some sequins to finish the card.
Hope you like the card. Supplies are listed at the end.
